Layout warning message

When you have an entity that, for example has the Identification Document expired, the Microsoft Dynamics shows an alert in red in the beginning of the page (to let the user knows there is information that needs to be updated). Is it possible to change the layout of that message? I wanted to have a bigger red alert or a pop-up or something more appealing.
