AX 2012 Firmed Purchase Pulling Incorrect Delivery Address

When firming a planned purchase order that includes site and warehouse storage dimensions the resulting purchase order is pulling in an incorrect delivery address, not the address that is related to the site/warehouse combination that is being displayed in the header.  Has anyone seen this issue before?

    Thanks Steve,

I need fix at lines of purchase order. I haven't looked at the header level, will eventually.

    I appreciate your detailed explanation.

The fix will fix the delivery address on the line, but it will not fix the delivery address on the header. As standard when AX creates a purchase order the lines get populated from the item, meaning the site and warehouse are correct at the line level. These can come from amalgamated requirements when grouping happens and you could bring in lines with different site and warehouse settings within AX. What this means is the header is populated from the default settings of the vendor - the lines do not update it. So the setting is either vendor driven or blank in the header. During the review of the firmed purchase orders and before confirmation you would need to set the site and warehouse in the header to be what you want. You could customize it to select the details from the first line on the PO at creation, but that is about all and does not resolve orders with mixed lines.

Check the process with a vendor set to site A warehouse B and a line with site X and warehouse Y and see what happens. Check where you are getting your "wrong" details from.

AX allows you to print the line address on the purchase order to cope with multiple supply routes, but most businesses take the address from the header and therefore you need to ensure in your process that the header information is correct prior to confirmation and print.

Does it use the company address instead? If yes, try out the below hotfix:

Can you log it with MS. A quick search on partnersource/customersource reveals a fix for all versions of AX 2012: 'Purchase orders created from material requirements planning (MRP) do not use the delivery address from the purchase order line'.

But I don't know if your scenario meets the scenario covered by this fix. Hence, log it with MS.
