Check Form 10412 does not have a Word Format, so if you are creating a new Custom Layout and choosing to Insert Word Layout, it will be a blank New Layout. The check that is printing is the RDLC (built-in), so this is the one you will want to modify.
Here's how I verified this: Go into the Report Layout Selection window, using the search in that window type in 10412. In the 'Selected Layout' column, if you try and select the option Word (Built-in) you will get a message "Report 'Check (Check/Stub/Stub)' has no built in Word layout".
This message tells us that there will not be a report available to export into Word, instead a blank report layout will be created.
