SBS 2011 has been tested and is compatible with Retail Management System.

I'm pretty sure there isn't a 2010 version of SBS, 2008 or 2011.
The SBS 2011 Essentials can be just a Workgroup environment so I don't see any issues with that. Its big brother SBS 2011 Standard steps up to domain based and can be an issue with RMS as Ed mentioned. I can be worked out, but is a pain.
That said, SBS 2011 version is not officially supported by MDR, only 2003 and 2008 are.
Remember though that Win 7 Pro and Ultimate now allows for 20 computers to connect to it.
Do Not use SBS for a RMS installation. The Domain environment will cause problems.
