    Hello,

I believe you want to bring the data from lead to account during the qualification process and the easiest way to do that is using the mapping. Check this article that describes the similar process for lead to opportunity mapping - ledgeviewpartners.com/.../

    Hi,

If you want to pull data from an account to a lead and the field is a Choice, I invite you to create a Global Option Set, so it will be used both in the account and in the lead. You can use it in the workflow because it will be the same type. See learn.microsoft.com/.../custom-picklists

    Hi partner,

If you want to automatically pull data from Account to Lead, you can create a field mapping.

It is important to note that the field that we used to mapping must be the same values and type in Account and Lead form.

    Here are the steps:

    1. Select Account table.

    2. Create "one-to-many" relationship with Lead.

    3. Click Advanced Settings under gear.

    4. Select Customizations under Customization.

    5. Click Customize the System and select Account.

    6. Click 1: N Relationships and select relationship that we created.

    6. Select Mappings and create a new mapping

    7. Save and close.

    8. When you create a new Account and then create a new lead from related tab, you will see company size value automatically be taken from Account.

    Hi HarHar,

    Thank you for your information.

Have you created a new Lead record from Account record? If so, the value in Company Size column will be taken from Account to Lead form.

    pastedimage1684203430898v2.png

The value cannot be taken when we create a new Lead record and then select an existing Account.

    Hi Sayen,

yes, when created Lead record from Account , it can pull the data, you're correct.

But when created from Lead only, it cannot pull data from Account, I need to create record from Lead instead of create from Account, may I have your advise please ?

    Thanks HarHar

RE: process - pull data from account with a new field

    Hi HarHar,

I'm afraid it is not available to use workflow to update the value in choice column of Lead form.

It's due to system design that we cannot pull value from choice column to another column.

Now we can only use field mapping to realize this function.

    Best Regards,

    Sayen Zhang
