Hi,

I am trying to configure online channel to use the new channel hierarchy that was created. So I opened "Channel categories and product attributes" page to do the same, but I am not able to see the new online store I created in the list shown. Any reason?

Once I see the new online channel that I created, I need to update the "Category hierarchy".

Thanks in advance

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Harshavardhana,

If you have created a new organizational hierarchy, go to "Organization Hierarchy Purposes"   select Retail assortment, and assign the hierarchy you created.

Once this is changed you can see the new online channel that you created.

    Hi,

When you configured online channel to use the new channel hierarchy that was created, did you follow the steps in the following documentation?

Configure a channel to use a channel navigation hierarchy - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

And please check that your online store is set up correctly and completely:

Set up an online store | Microsoft Docs

Please note that the online store is assigned to an organizational hierarchy.

If the above operations have been completed, please check that your actions on "Channel categories and product attributes" page follow the steps below:

Define channel attributes - Commerce | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs

Hope my answer can help you.

    Best regards,

    Charlotte Xu

    Hi Bharath,

I followed the steps you mentioned. First I opened "Organization Hierarchy Purposes" and then selected "Retail assortment". Next I selected the hierarchy I had created and set it as default.

After this I opened "Channel categories and product attributes" where the store I had created was in the list.

    Hi Charlotte,

Yes, I had configured the online channel correctly except for the above step.

I am following "Commerce in a day" workshop doc for configuring.

    Thanks both for your help,

    Regards

    Harsha
