Error on Plugin Registration

I'm trying to register a plugin and I get an error. I've used this plugin in other CRM instances in the past, and it worked fine.

We are using CRM on-premise 8.2.2.112. See error message below. Any advice?

See if this post helps you:

Possibly has to do with versioning.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you Aric,

I tried replacing the references by newer ones, but not luck.

Since I used it in other CRM instances, I exported it in an Unmanaged solution and imported it in my new instance.

Weirdly enough, now I can update the plugin with no problem. But if I remove it and try to register again, it doesn't work. But eh, my workaround works for now so I will live with it!
