Hello, we are looking for some detailed set up and functional documentation regarding resource validation category assignments in D365 F&O. We've done some research and are not finding if this functionality has changed since AX 2012 R3.
We would like to know more about the concept of resource validation in D365 F&O, however we are specifically looking at resource validation by categories. Thank you!

Here is a docs article from MS for AX2012, which still applies for D365FO.
