Auto populate email fields

I have a form in an entity where user can enter email address of the customer. Now when user wants to send an email from CRM (by clicking "Email" under the "Activities"), users has to manually enter email address of the customer already stored in the entity. Is there a way so that I can auto populate the email address of the customer on the email screen when user is sending the email. Please help.

    Hi, Can you elaborate some more on your requirement. If you have 100 of customers then  i don't think you are going to populate all them. I suggest you to write a plugin on Pre-Send of email to set the user automatically based on some condition.

    Hi Sam,

    As per you explanation , what i understand is your Business User wants to send an email to Customer.

    Current Action Performed by your Business User-->User Goes to Workplace=>Activities=>Email=>Enter Email Address.

    If you are performing the above steps then you would require to enter customer email address. However if you want to avoid entering the email address of customer then you need to create the email activity from customer record.

    Recommended Step: Open the Customer Record =>Activities (Navigation Pane )=>Add New Activity => Email.

    This will map the customer to the associated email and you need not enter the email address explicitly.

    PS: Above recommended step is considering you want to achieve your requirement with OOB CRM. If you need a different process then kindly elaborate your requirement.
