When looking at a lead's record how do you see what marketing lists they are on and what activities such as emails from campaigns have they received?

You I think you have that whenever changing systems, once you get use to it though I think you will like it. Plus with whatever questions you have, the community is here to help, these forums and blogs can be a huge help. When I started Dynamics CRM 13 years ago I leveraged forums and blogs quite heavily to get up to speed.
Good luck!
Okay got it. Thanks for you help. There is definitely a steep learning curve coming from Salesforce to Dynamics.
The Icon would change for the email in outlook, the other thing would be the track button would say untrack.
Anyways long story short, when you do a mail merge at the last item there is an option to create the items in Dynamics CRM or not. The default is to NOT create the items in Dynamics CRM, so if you did not change it the emails do not actually exist in CRM. See image below from mail merge. If the emails are in your sent items they went out though so at least that is some good news. If you really wanted to you could track them back into Dynamics if you have something you need to do with them.
I don't know where would I see that?
Are they showing as tracked as well?
Yes they show as sent in my Outlook.
When you do a mail merge there is an option to create email activities within Dynamics CRM. If you chose no the activities were not actually generated in Dynamics but instead just sent to the marketing list. So the activities may not be in CRM at all. Are they in your sent items in Outlook?
I sent the email from the campaign using a mail merge. I did not know anything about distributing campaign activities though. I guess I need research that function.
How did you send the email then? Did you distribute campaign activities, mail merge?
I am using CRM with CRM for Outlook ADDin.
