Report is pulling from one layout and need to be another.

Hello,

I have a posted purchase invoice and it is pulling from the purchase Invoice report. I need it to pull it from the sales invoice report. How can I make this a default.

Report Selection - Purchase is where you set the document. However, the sales invoice report will pull data from Posted Sales Invoice table and not from Posted Purchase Invoice table so printing a sales invoice report when you post a purchase invoice will not work.

Hi, as Kim mentioned, this is possible, but with errors. Because the DataItem is different when the report is designed, the following error will occur.

Hi Lucas Payton,

Based on your requirement i check the purchase layout and it will not set on the Sales layout.

so you need to create new sales report with the same as purchase invoice report layout.

that will be helps you to print same layout.
