Customize SalesOrderPackingSlip report copy and original D365fo

HI,

I've  a scenario where i want to customize the sales order packing slip report (original & copy) both. I've actually use coc for salesorderpackingslip dp and for design i've used created a duplicate ssrs report and create a new design. 

using PrintMgmtDocType class i've create an extension for report design name, but it should work for original only, how do i set it ? How this would be handled by PrintMgmtDocType class? at Print management setup you can define only one design format for original and one for copy.

Any suggestion would be helpful.

    Hi Zohan,

    Usually for "Print management" you just add your new report to the list of available reports (check for example PrintMgmtReportFormatPopulatorAppSuite_Extension.addSalesDocuments).

    After the report added to the list, your new report should be visible in print management set up and you just select it for UI.

    It already showed on print management set up, but it generates only one design for both copy and original report. i need to print different design

    Hi Zohan,

    You mentioned that you created an extension for PrintMgmtDocType class and most likely you forced to use your layout in all cases. I suggest you comment out this change and add a report like it was mentioned in the previous comment.

    PrintMgmtReportFormatPopulatorAppSuite_Extension is already a coc extension, so i how would i achieve that? any example

    Hi Zohan,

    PrintMgmtReportFormatPopulatorAppSuite_Extension  is just an example how to add new report layouts. You need to create new extension class for PrintMgmtReportFormatPopulator.addDocuments
