HI,
Is MS Dynamics Nav able to generate invoices in pdf and placed in a folder? Is this automatic or manually invoice by invoice?

hi,
with nav 2013 and above: every report can be saved as pdf doc. and stored into a folder.
nav 2009: you'll need a pdf driver (freepdf, ...)
you can create the invoice pdf docs manually one by one.
it's also possible to print out more than one (posted) invoice by setting the No. filter in the print dialog, e.g. 1000..1005. after setting this filter select "PDF" from the Print-Button-Menu. One pdf doc. with all the invoices found in the filter are contained.
you can use Zetadocs express for Dynamics NAV (for File System and SharePoint integration)

If you are using Dynamics NAV 2013 or above you can save one invoice or multiple invoice in PDF format. If you want to print a single invoice then set the document no filter to one invoice and if you want to set a range of invoice then you can set the filter like below
AAA...DDD = with this filter it will print invoices AAA and upto DDD
AAA|CCC|EEE = With this filter it will print AAA, CCC and EEE invoices
If you have older version then you can use a tool like Zetadocs express or Spindel.

You can use the jonathan suggestion for manual creation of print into PDF and can save it.
For Automatic creation of PDF and Save into desired folder. Please integrate Zetadocs express with Dynamics NAV. (As suggested by Roberto)
Zetadocs express have option to save on folder as well as on Sharepoint.
