Refreshing Sandbox instance

We have MSCRM online.  We have had the 2015 update applied to our Sandbox environment, but not yet to Production.  A lot of customizations were made directly into Production, so testing in Sandbox is very difficult.  Can I use the Copy function to refresh the Sandbox environment from Production?  If so, will we lose the 2015 upgrade?

    Hi Jeff_ACIS

My name is Andres Guzman, I'm glad to help you

The Copy function delete the old Sandbox instance an create a new one, and depends which option you choose (full or minimal) you going to have data or not.

As you have a different version in your production instance, what will happen is you will going to have a CRM 2013 version again.

I think this is not so bad because you can request to have an update applied in this new deployment through a support case.

Let me know if you need additional info

    Regards,
