Hello,

MY issue is when the quantity in the main warehouse is less and it needs to get refill from a replishment warehouse , how can we make this automatic when the creation of purchase order occurs. When the Purchase order is created , and there is less zero quantity in main warehouse , can the trasnfer order be automatically triggered so as to goods are transfered from replishment warehouse to main warehouse ! Kindly help me in this regard !

I am using the finance and operation in D365 .  Thanks . Kindly guide me with an example if necessary .

    Hi Din DIn,

There is no such OOB feature, you have to do some customization.

And you can have a look at Immediate replenishment:

Are you okay to use Master planning for this requirement? if so, you may define the min\max setup at the warehouse level and as master plan runs it would proactively ask you to purchase the stock to the main warehouse by creating a planned purchase order for Main warehouse and creates a planned transfer order to refill from Main warehouse to the picking warehouse.

I can share more details based on your response.

Hello Din Din, look at Santosh's response. Master planning will handle this requirement easily.  To meed the demand in the Main warehouse, Master Planning will generate a Planned Transfer Order (from Replinishement to Main) and a Planned Purchase Order (in Replenishement warehouse).
