Any way to prevent an entity from appearing in the Quick Create window and still allow Quick Create?

We need to allow QuickCreate on an entity, but we do not want a record created outside of the context of a Case, so the user shouldn't see it as an option when clicking the Quick Create button from the main navigation bar. Is there any way to allow one but not the other?
