Custom POS Buttons

We currently have custom POS buttons that is a shortcut to specific items.  They show on the right hand side of the POS screen.  We'd like to get rid of most of the items but move, for example, the TIme Clock, Graph, Journal, etc., which are all currenly keys at the bottom of the POS to the list of Custom POS buttons.  Is this possible?  If so, I would like to know what the commands are that we enter when we create them.

Why not just use the taskpads instead of the function keys below? You can put both function keys and custom POS buttons on the taskpad.

If we choose the task pad, we lose all the function keys below. It is either or. Seems like there should be a way to add shortcut keys to custom pos buttons with an internal command like Discount.

You can add your custom pos buttons to the taskpad.

Thanks, we do have that version.  Unfortunately, it looks like either you go with the Task Pad option OR the custom POS buttons and the function menu below.  We were able to add Discount as an Internal COmmand to the Custom POS buttons, and it seems like we should be able to do the same with other POS functions.  I would really like to know the commands to use for various tasks such as Timeclock, Journal, Calculator, etc.  We have about 11 of them we use heavily.

I would highly recommend utilizing the task pads as they are designed to do exactly what you are describing. You do need to be on FP2 in order to use them.
