More Precise Directed Put-Away

Hello,

Currently, in our warehouse configuration we have two Zones, WHSE & MFG. Directed Put-Away & Pick is enabled. We are utilizing the Put-Away Template.

Items are stored are in WHSE and once weekly Manufacturing use calculate Bin Replenishment in the Movement Worksheet to fulfill its stock based off of set Min Max values.

Bin Ranking is set higher on Zone - MFG Bins to ensure that manufacturing workers are picking from the MFG instead of picks populating for Zone WHSE.

All of this works as intended with the exception of one small annoyance. When receiving items, it always wants put-away to a MFG bin first up to it max capacity. I understand this is a result of Bin Ranking.

Current Behavior:

MFG Bin Min/Max = 200/400; Current Qty = 377

REC = Box of 200 screws, Put-Away = 23 Screws to MFG Bin, 177 Screws to WHSE Bin.

Desired Behavior = Priority for Put-Away always to WHSE, Priority for Pick on MFG components always from MFG.

I would not like to use separate locations, because the Transfer Order Process is not the direction we want to go with this. I really wish there were two Bin Rankings, one for Put-Away, and one for Pick.

Thanks,

Dustin
