Hi all,

I have added a new user in my system then i assigned only "Account Manager" role to my user as shown below.

Now when i sign in from my user(who has assigned Account Manager role), I am unable to access Account records, It is only showing Settings Tab what could be the reason?

I have also checked AccountManager role matrix It has privilege of all operations like Create, Delete, Assign, Update, Share etc at Business Unit Level

No, I have again checked. He has only "Account Manager" role as shown in above image and he has assigned privileges like  Create, Read, Write, Share, Assign for Account Entity  at Business Unit Access Level and He is a part of Business unit which is Child of Root business unit.

Are the accounts in that same BU?  If the other users are in the parent BU, that is why they won't see it.

Test by assigning an account to the user and see if they can see it then.  If so, that means the owners of the other records are in a different BU.

There are two enabled Business Units in my System

    1. netsmartz7 (Root BU)

    2. netsmartz6 (Child)

    - There are 2 users who are in "netsmartz6" business unit, whom I have assigned only "Account Manager" role

    - I have also created some "Account" records from another user(System Admin role), then i assigned those records to above 2 users(belongs to netsmartz6 BU)

-Now either of Naveen or Daniel login to CRM they should be able to see all Accounts records whose owner is either Naveen or Daniel but what to speak of showing accounts, even it is not showing the account anywhere when sign in from either Naveen or Daniel

I know this is really basic, but have you verified the Views they're using?  It's possible their default view doesn't match the filter, so they don't see anything.  Try the "All Accounts" view and see if that works.

Alternately, have them create a dummy account and see if they can at least see that.
