Which version of the SL ( 7.0, 2011, 2015) has maximum User base (Customer)

We are working on one of the project for our customer to develop plugin connectors (Integration Adapter), which would enable the end users to quickly integrate cloud and on premise applications. As a part of this project, we are targeting to develop plugin connectors for Dynamics SL. This connector would provide the end user i.e. SL customers, ‘simple, quicker & ready to use’ platform to access features / services provided by Dynamics SL

So for connector development we would like to know the maximum customer base for SL versions
