Hi is it possible to hide the Select and sort options in the subgrid eclipse (the 3 dots) , see screenshot below
I was not able to find an answer for this.
many thanks
Hello,
I don't think this is possible and I don't see these buttons as part of the command bar definition for subgrids.
Feel free to suggest that idea here: powerusers.microsoft.com/.../PowerAppsIdeas
Hello Henry,
There were more options with the Eclipse button. I was able to hide most of them with the Ribbon workbench. But the remaining options seem to be hardcoded with the unified Interface.
I will search further for a definite answer, thx
These options are listed because the subgrid showing as Card list, instead of regular grid rows. When the available real estate is less in the form or resolution is like mobile display, the responsive design kick-in & rendering this card list along with mobile menu options like Select & Sort. Otherwise they are part of grid header & row properties.
You have to expand the section width where subgrid is living, to avoid this.
You don't necessarily need to expand the subgrid to achieve this. You can actually customize the control for the subgrid and chose to force the rendering to "Grid Only" so that it doesn't reflow to a "list" view (what you see on smaller screens or mobile)
Hi, I added a new control to the subgrid and achieved a good result, the select and sort are hidden now.
However I disliked the "show as" option that appears if you have more than 1 control on the subgrid.
