Hello dear All,

Working with Excel add-in I noticed a strange issue on my environment:

When I try to import any data in a system table (DlvMode or another) it works perfectly. But when I tried to import in a custom table I received a strange exception:

Please note that is displayed without any details. Initially I thought that it's a problem with my table indexes, primary and replacement keys or another property. After a time I duplicated the "DlvMode" table and obtained a table like "CopyOfDlvMode" ... Tried to publish any data to this table and I see the same error message.

The AOS was restarted many times and Excel relaunched.

AX version: 6.0.947.280

Office version: 14.0.6112.5000

I had exactly the same issue and spend quite a time tracking it down. It turned out that I had to do full compilation of the code and full compilation to CIL after that. This problem often comes when you move database between environments production-development-sandbox etc.

The good indication that this is the issue is when attempt to build incremental CIL fail with some wired errors.

I am getting the same error while importing

Document Generic document could not be created. Error details:

Plz If you guys found out what is the solution help me resolve it.

Issue got resolved by generating CIL from system administration module

I got this error while importing inventory unit ."Document Generic could not be created "

ny 1 knows the reason for this error.

Thanks to all here,

"Document Generic could not be created " this error done by "Generate incremental CIL" or (ctrl+shift+F7)
