need a solution to growing customer table in HQ environment

We are working with a HQ Customer with 75 stores and about 1.5 million global customers. The major problem on hand is the delay this causes during the 401s. We have multiple HQ Server feeding into one main db. Is any of the following possible?

1. Split the 401's so the global customer information and sales information are run separately.

2. Remove the customer update as part of the 401's (without disabling global customers)

3. Any other solution that you can think of

    Thank you for your question.

    There is no way to remove the customer update function from the Style 401 worksheets within RMS.

    You can try completing the steps outlined in the following blog article to try and increase the performance for the Style 401 worksheets:

    You cant remove the Customer update part from 401s.  You can check with Retail Realm.  They have a HQ utility addon bundle.  One of the things it is suppose to do is speed up the communication between stores and hq.
