Hello,
I would like to copy all privileges/duties and all options that 'system administrator' has access to,
In the Security Configuration form, none of the associated privileges/ duties is shown,
Kind regards,
Jihane
Hi Jihane,
This is not possible. The SysAdmin role is a special role which will bypass all security. For that reason, there are no duties and privileges attached.
Hi Jihane
You can assign the user with the SysAdmin role if you want to do everything same with SysAdmin.
You can not control SysAdmin by any seurity settings.
Best Regards.
Thank you RongYan and André for your answers,
I don't want to control the SysAdmin Role,
The objective is to create a second role with same privileges as The sysAdmin, and then, depending on the user profile we will limit the privileges for a given user.
That's the reason I would like to know, if there is a way to get all privileges / duties applied to the sysAdmin ?
Kind regards
For this, you need to create a security role and add all duties or all privileges. Note that there might be still some minor differences.
As mentioned, SysAdmin is bypassing the security. For a similar role, but some limitations, you have to build the role as any other business user role, only the number of duties or privilege attached to this role will be a lot more.
Thank you André for your answer,
