Monitor Number of users logged into the System

We have a license for 5 users, and every now and then ... when someone tries to login, they get a message that you can't because the licenses doesn't allow

I check the sessions and I find around 8 sessions, there are users with multiple sessions ... as they open NAV App, web client and Desktop client at the same time.

My questions are:

1- when a user opens web client and desktop client, does this count for one license user ?

2- How can I monitor who is currently logged in ? The "sessions" window shows me the sessions. Is there a way other than this sessions window to see only which users are logged on ?

3- Can I kick specific users from the systems ? because when I ask them to get out of the system they say that they are logged out. Although, their sessions are shown on the "sessions" window.

Thanks in Advance

    Hi,
Following are the answers to your questions:
    1) Yes, this count as one.
    2) Yes, you can check directly from the SQL Server. In NAV database there is a table names as dbo.Active Session. All the NAV sessions are stored here. If you deleted directly from here, the session withh be deleted too.

    3) Yes, delete directly from dbo.Active Session table from NAV database.
Delete from [My Database].[dbo].[Active Session] where [Session ID] = 123

    Hi A. Saf,

1- when a user opens web client and desktop client, does this count for one license user ? As we tested, NAV license is counted on User ID.

2, 3 - How can I monitor who is currently logged in ? Can I kick specific users from the systems ? Monitor and kick specific users from the systems is one of our tool's feature. You can download and try it from Mibuso website https://mibuso.com/downloads/idle-session-management
