Dynamic values from lookup in email template crm 365

Hi All,

I have Account entity email template in this i need to get dynamic values from custom entity like:

On Account entity one lookup field Primary Address (Address Master entity) is there & from Primary Address  lookup field District is available.

Here Can i get dynamic values of this District from Address Master entity in Account email template ?I have used below template but its showing null district value.

Is it possible ?

Anyone have any ideas ?

    Hi Amit,

    I have followed the link u shared: I am using like below :

    Type am using Account email template not global.

    {!schemanameofprimaryaddressentity : districtschemaname/@name ;}

    {!new_address : new_district/@name ;}

    But its giving null value.

    make sure you are specifying the correct schema name and field name in lower case letter. And when you click on save it should turn into yellow color.

    Hi Bipin,

    Thanks for your response.

    I have used correct scehmaname in lowercase & once save it will aitomatically set the field with display name what we are using in crm entity.

    But here what syntaxt should use to get lookup value district  present in the primary address entity & primary address is avilable in Account entity.

    Hi,

    At the moment its not supported. You can just take value of the lookup record. however cannot go inside that record to get its other field values.

    You can create new custom field in Account entity and auto populate this with Workflow/JS/Plugin and use that in your email template.
