RMS Offline Issue Synchronization - Z Report doesn't match Detailed Sales Report when online

Hi guys,

I have an issue regarding facing problems with offline mode where Z report and Detailed Sales Report figures do not match. Z report cannot be printed when in offline mode but isn't it that once offline mode synchronizes with online mode two (2) Z reports should be printed?

In our case upon synchronizing offline with online we only get one (1) Z report which initially doesn’t match with Detailed Sales Report at all.

Please advise on any work around solution. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Not sure what message you are referring to, this thread is about zouts not matching the report.

    As to your transfer issues, did you run a back dated 401 to try if the transfer would resync?

    The biggest issues we see with transfers is clocks are different between the sending and receiving computers. Being a minute off will cause issues.

    Hi Jeff,

    I don’t think reindex is required as only once inventory transfer gave problem and there after all transfers has been going through well. Client wants to know what caused that problem where the transfer didn’t go through or complete. When you go to one of the items which was in transfer list, it shows under that item – inventory on order and transfer out has got quantity pending for transfer where the transfer form did not show up on the other store for receiving.

    Can you tell me or please advise on how do we get rid of those on order quantity and transfer out so that a new transfer can be made. Note that the old transfer which had errors has been deleted but all items which were on the list still shows on order quantity and transfer out quantity. How to make that 0?

    When a Register goes into Offline mode, the batch is closed and a new Offline batch is created on the Register.

    When the Register re-connects to the main database, the Offline batch is synced and a new Online batch is created.

    When the day ends, close as normal, then one must manually X/Z out the original batch.  Manager | Journal | Update Batch Info | double click the earlier batch number and X/Z it out and then manually add batches together for the day.
