AX2012 R3 Warehousing replenishment

Hi all

Is it possible to setup demand replenishment to replenish bulk to pick to the maximum quantity on the fixed location, rather than the amount required by the sales order? We want to avoid triggering replenishment each time a sales order is created if the fixed location is empty, we would rather a replenishment to fill the location to it's maximum quantity, but I can't find how to do this. On the same topic would we need to set up demand replen for every single item in fixed locations, or could we group different based on location profile or zone for example? Again,  I couldn't find a way to do this. Thanks

The document shows how to fill up the location for Min/Max replenishment, but not Demand replenishment. If my fixed location is empty and I release a sales order, I would want Demand replen to suggest a quantity to fill up the fixed location, not just for the sales order?

I do not believe Demand Replenishment to Max is possible in AX 2012. It was added to D365 F&O in version 10.0.0.

    Hello,

You can define new UOM for "ReplenQty" and specify conversion between "ReplenQty" and inventory Unit, after this specification you can define new replenishment template for replenishment Quantity.
