How do you get non-financial accounts to map to Management reporter

I am trying to run a calculation off data using a non-financial account in Management reporter. The non-financial account is not mapping to the report when I run it. The non-financial account is set up as a unit account and has data in it. How do you get it to generate when running the report? I have the account in the Link to Financial Dimensions under the account column. Is there something else I'm missing on the row definitions?

    Dbrownfl,

What kind of non-financial data is it? Working days, square footage, head count?

When you say the account "has data in it", are you saying that for every fiscal period affected by that Unit Account there is a balance?

E.g., for head count, the beginning balance for the year might be 550 employees. Each month there are "debits" and "credits" representing new hires and terminations. Those need to be entered monthly just like any other GL transaction.

That being said, a Unit Account will work pretty much like any financial account in Management Reporter; though I'm a bit puzzled by what you said here: "I have the account in the Link to Financial Dimensions under the account column." Could you post an example of the Link to Financial Dimensions from your Row Definition?

    Sincerely,

I resolved the problem. I didn’t have the right company mapped to pick up the statistic. I am using multi entity and didn’t have the company mapped to the column to pick up the statistic. Once mapped correctly, it pulled the data over.

Very good! I'm glad you solved it.
