Sent Message Tracking between Dynamics CRM and Outlook

(1) ShareShare

Posted on by 3

When sending a response to a client via Dynamics CRM, if tracked, I am able to see it appear in my Sent Messages in Outlook.

However, on the Outlook side of things (stillunder Sent Messages), the tag is not present.

Therefore, when doing my daily updates, I have to search them all up individually on Dynamics to make sure that they are there and being tracked correctly.

I was wondering is anyone else had/noticed this issue, and if there was a quick fix.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Currently, the tracking flag is only visible in your inbox, but you can manually set tracking token on sent emails to confirm that they are tracked correctly.

After setting it up, you can see the prefixes and special tags you have set up in outlook.

Afterwards you can also mark it manually in outlook.

    Hi Cui,

It does indirectly answer my question. Basically, we were looking for a way to be able to directly access the CRM from the Sent Items, but if you tell me that it's not possible without retracking it, then I suppose it's simply a MS limitation.

    Thanks for your help!
