Custom SSRS report

Posted on by 385

Hello,

I'm pretty new to the whole building SSRS reports in visual studio report designer. I was able to produce a first report, upload it to dynamics 365 and run (and get results too!)

But I can not figure out how I'm doing "filter" to the report. For example, the report will run only on a specific customer that user selects.

The Filter button does not appear in the report.

As well as enabling pre-filtering in the report query (as per the previous post), you will also need to specify the related entity type(s) for the report when you upload it, and also to display in 'Form for related entities' if you want a user to able to run the report from the form on a given record

    Hello,

You should enable prefiltering for your report - exptechsolutions.blogspot.com/.../d365-ssrs-report-prefiltering.html
