Using the ' update excel template with data' function

In financial reporting, when I open a report in excel, I then want to customize it to my own format such as change font, column width, highlighted text etc. I want to use this format as the 'standard format' for all reports.
In order to use this standard format, I click on 'update excel template with data'. However, after doin that, it still exports data in original format with none of the new changes I had made.

How can I have BC export these reports  in my own standard format?

Hi, as far as I know, this only affects the formatting outside of the generated data. For example, in the example below, the formatting is reset when there is data in the second re-export.

Hopefully other experts can give you better advice.

    Thanks
