Hi experts,
Recently we came with strange issue in Our UAT D365 FO environment that when we create sales order we are not able to confirm it because confirm sales order and pro forma confirmation buttons are disabled as you can see in following screenshot. What could be the reason and how to resolve this issue?
Ahh, that's good you were able to resolve it. I missed call center functionality.
issue got resolved by by disabling 'enable order completion' in call center, I guess complete button is also there which you can notice in screenshot

Has the sales order order status changed to Delivered? The buttons would be greyed out then.
If not, you will need to debug and check if any customization is affecting the enabling/disabling of buttons
order type is sales order only

Please confirm that the order type is not "Return Order" either. They won't have these buttons enabled either
Check if any customization is done for this? I don't think OOB has any conditions for disabling SO confirmation.
Also, check the order type on the Sales order that it is NOT 'Journal'. Journal type orders cannot be confirmed.
