Yearly Subscription Payment Plan

Posted on by 150

We have customers that owe us a X dollars a year for a service plan.

Same time each year (and some each month), some customers needs to be billed or be dropped from service plan.

Currently we do this with an Excel spread sheet.

I would appreciate some direction or insight to setting this up automatically in GP10.

Thank you.

     Thank you very much.

I read the help files and it seams to be exactly what we need.

Yep, Great advice from Frank. Contract is a little more $ to set up an maintain, butit also is more automated. I guess it comes down to how many of these types of transactions you have to manage. Kind regards, Leslie

Look at Contract Administration.  This is exactly what it is designed for.

Or if you don't have the Contract Administration module, look at Scheduled Payments in Receivables.  This will automatically create the billings for you based on amounts, frequency and duration that you define.
