Yesterday we received an email about the Unified Interface transfer. We are are already using UI for our solutions, but there is a remark about the option UI only switch.

So you have an option to set or not. I don't see that option (but maybe we need upgrade proposed).

However what will mean if you choose this. For example currently when you can create a View both in the classic way and under UI, But there are still many features (like charts) which can only be designed through classic way.

So does this mean that those will also be transferred. In other words would for instance the View options only available in UI and not anymore in the classic way.

"Enable Unified Interface only" option will impact the user experience.

That will not disable the classic admin experience. (solution explorer, form designer, view designer)

Even after enabling that option, you can still access the classic admin experience by clicking on the "Switch to classic" button.

Hello!

If you don`t want to change these settings everytime you need to switch between Unified and Legacy interface -> use this free add-on uds.systems/.../interface-switcher

Sometimes we have script errors on Unified interface, sometimes some buttons on ribbon are not available. Personally for me it is important to change the interface and go to the same record or view. This add-on helps to do it in one click.
