User unable to see a PO attachment

Hello experts,

I've got an issue with an attachments (either to a PO or to a product receipt D365 FO).

I have one user who is unable to see the attachment, more precise - she sees that the attachment(s) is there (numbers on attachment icon) but as soon as she clicks on it she does not see anything.

Maybe someone had a similar problem?

(I did verify the roles, and in user preferences document handling set to YES).

    Hi Anya,

    Does this issue only happen to one user?

    What is the difference between the privilege of this user and normal users?

    Do you check if there are any filters?

    Please try to clear usage data.

    Please check the user options of your colleagues especially if the parameter settings for document handling in the 'preference tab' are set differently.

    Hi Anya,

    Can you confirm if the document attachment form is opened or is the button not opening any form?

    Can you check if this user still has the default 'System user' security role assigned?

    Thanks for your replies. Clarification:

    André, the document attachment form is opened, and the user does not see any documents in it. System user role is assigned.

    MATTGUO, I compared the privileges with other users (from the same team who are able to see attachments) - no difference.

    What I also did (thinking it might be a computer issue and not D365) I made the user login from my machine, and the results are still the same.

    Hi Anya,

    When one user is not able to see the attachment records with the same security roles as other users, then I do think it might be a filter (e.g. saved view) for this user.

    It could also be due to a custom security policy (Extensible Data Security). Are you aware of such XDS policy?

    Hi André,

    XDS policy is definitely a new abbreviation in my vocabulary )).

    But I wanted to share that my issue got solved by resetting usage data. Now the user is able to see the attachments. Unfortunately I cannot say that I understand @ 100% how the filters work and what was the cause of the issue (non-IT background), but at least I have a happy user now.
