Converting from Trial to Production

Good morning All, just a quick question, that I cannot seem to find a definitive answer to -

I currently have a Trial Environment for Dynamics Sales Hub, which I have been using to do some testing, and some minor customisation etc. My staff seem happy with it, so I want to keep it and develop it into our main Sales / CRM tool.

I noticed that this is a completely separate environment to my default org environment.

When I convert from Trial to Production, what happens? Does the Sales Trial stay as a separate environment, or does it get 'copied' over to my default environment?

I'd like to use Flows quite extensively to achieve certain things (as I am quite an advanced user with PowerApps and Power Automate), but I have noticed that the Dataverse connector in Power Automate will ONLY connect to the default org environment, so it is useless to me, and the legacy Dataverse connector (that does allow connections to different environments) doesn't have all the features I would like to use.

Any guidance for a Dynamics 'newbie' would be very much appreciated.

    Hi ColonelDXB,

Q: "When I convert from Trial to Production, what happens? Does the Sales Trial stay as a separate environment, or does it get 'copied' over to my default environment?"

A: It would stay as a separate environment and convert the Trial environment to Production environment. This would take several hours and would keep your data.

Thanks Steve, I thought as much......

I assume then, that to use the updated Dataverse connector in PowerAutomate, I would have to create all the necessary flows in that environment too.....
