How do I customize the Send Now pop-up?

When using the "Send Now" function in a marketing email, the default lookup view seems to be set to recent contacts. How do we change this to Active Contacts so that all contacts are searched?

The February 2021 update (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/marketing/whats-new-marketing) states:

  • Marketing emails
    • You can now customize the lookup default view for the send now functionality.

Where does this customization take place?

Thank you!

Turns out our issue was due to a deactivated view (active contacts was deactivated early on in our setup as we had another view that we preferred to use).  I reactivated that view and now it is the default view; however, we are not able to change the default view.  The Microsoft Rep said:

There was a feature to change the customizations and set out default view for the contacts for the Send now but that was reverted back so now we will not be able to change the default view and Active view will only be the default view.

I hope this is helpful to anyone curious about this!

    Rose

Thanks Nya!  I'll reach out to Microsoft to see if we can get this changed.

    Hi,

The lookup view can be selected by clicking the "Advanced Lookup".

But there is no way to set a certain view as the default view.

It is recommended to raise a support ticket to MS for further help.
