Adding business logic to AX2012 AIF AxdItem

Hi,

I'm trying to use initQueryFromEntityKey as explained here - > https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamicsax-2012/appuser-itpro/guidelines-for-adding-code-to-document-service-classes in the section

Outbound Exchange Business Logic

In AxdItem I want to check if certain fields are filled in correctly on an Item and I want to achive exactly the same as in the example ie don't send the document if conditons are not met.

But I can't get this to work. It doesn't even feels like I hit the method which has been overriden from AxdBase.

Does anyone have expierience in using nitQueryFromEntityKey?
