    Hi Edselv Evert,

Is this a typing error 'Adam' vs. 'Admin'?

If it is not a typing error, can you share the roles that you have assigned to your user and what this role contains in regards to the user rights?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwig,

    Not Admin.It's a user name.

I will create custamized role name as "Investigations".

This role belongs to one form.In that form have one date field. I will create rule for that date field. Here i will getting the warning.

    Please suggest.

    Thanks.

    Hi Edselv Evert,

And the form that you mention is that a customized form or is that a default form? If it is a default form, can you let us know which form you refer to?

    Many thanks and best regards,

    Ludwig

    It's a customized form.

    Thanks.

system administrator is the security role in 2012 which manages all the artifacts in the environment, if you specify this to your newly added user it will work fine. Now if you wanted to provide limited access to this user, you need to create couple of security artifacts (privileges, duties etc.) and manage it accordingly.

Did you assign 'System user' role to that particular user?

I am having similar error (insufficient rights for user xxxx) when trying to create an alert rule.

    System User role is assigned.

I am trying to create an alert rule on the field PurchaseLine.PurchStatus.

I am doing this by right clicking the field "Line Status">Create alert rule.

Notes: I AM able to create an alert rule for the PO, just not for the POLine..  We use intercompany features that autocreate a mirrored Sales Order when it is an intercompany PO.  Error occurs whether it is an intercompany or standard PO.

I AM able to create a PO Line alert rule when assigned System Admin role.

Does anyone have a way of discerning the exact role and privilege required for rights to this (or any) table?
