Hi guys, our team is currently experiencing issue on notification on posting Statement with message: An insufficient quantity of item “ITEM CODE” in inventory. , this is a newly setup store location, but the previouse store location has no issue of that notification message.

1. Tried to disable prevent negative inventory on Inventory Setup

2. Selecting which statement to be posted.
3. After selecting statement to be posted for example BSNAR, then this notification shows and the posting will not continue.

5. To be able to post the statement we temporary set "Prevent negative inventory" from YES to No, then put back from No to Yes after posting done.
I have the same question (0)

It seems to be a custom development. If thats the case check with the partner who did it.

@Ramiz, the number 5 is under the ITEM CARD, by setting the prevent negative inventory to "NO" will allow us to post the STATEMENT and bypass the notirication.

This looks like a custom solution. You will need to ask your partner to help you on this.

@Teddy Herryanto (That NAV Guy) , I'm not sure if this was customized or requested by the previous IT personnel who handled it before, regarding this POSTING STATEMENT procedure issue. Based on our usual process, we just disable the "Prevent Negative Inventory" on the Inventory Setup page, and then all things will be posted as negative or positive inventory.

As mentioned by other users, statements are custom functionality, and this page doesn't exist in standard Business Central. So it's hard for us to troubleshoot any issues with custom functionality we don't know about.

But what's your question? It seems like you're trying to consume inventory, and since it's not in stock, the system is preventing you from doing so. But you can configure the system to allow consumption of inventory that's not in stock, and then you can continue with the posting. This is standard behavior, and it's working as intended. So, what's your specific question?
