Folks,
I know that enabling full text search increases the performance of searches and users don't need to put wild cards in their searches.
In this article it clearly says there could be some downside if quick search is enabled. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn919650.aspx
Under what conditions enabling should be done? Inspite of warnings that transaction log might increase, why would CRM sys admins would enable this feature?
Thank You

I have the same question (0)There's not much to add to what is already covered in the article. To me the main benefit is the performance gain, but that depends on the amount of data in the entities being searched, and how quick find is used.
The main drawback is that the results are not necessarily up to date . Whether that matters also depends on how quick find is used
