How do I display dynamic contacts on a custom marketing list form?

Posted on by 60

I've added a subgrid to my form with the name "dynamic_contacts" and the label "Dynamic Contacts UCI". I can create dynamic marketing lists, but when I view the form the subgrid is empty. It says "No data available". I can export the marketing list as an excel spreadsheet and it shows that it does actually have the right data. I can also convert the dynamic marketing list to a static one and again that has the correct members and displays it in a subgrid.

What am I doing wrong with my dynamic_contacts subgrid?

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the help everyone. I opened a ticket with Microsoft and they fixed my problem.

First follow Alex Serdan's instructions. Then on the 3 subgrids that you've added for the dynamic lists, double click on them and go to the "Controls" tab. You need to add the control called "CC_Marketing_DynamicListSubgrid" to each one and then check the radio buttons for it.

    Hi!

Please create the following lookups and subgrids making sure to set the properties accordingly (example: "accountsUCI" should have the data source value set to "only related records", "account" and "all accounts respectively"), same should be done for contacts and lead
