'New' button greyed out after purchasing an essentials licence

Hi,
I really hope someone can help, I have tried to get help from MS and my cloud reseller but they havent been able to resolve the issue.

After purchasing a licence for BC, just one, I am very small, I was never able to add new entires.

For example I cannot add a new vendor - the button is greyed out.

The licence appears in my 365 admin and I have assigned it to myself. And re-assigned it many times.

I seem to have 'Super' listed as a user / permission set - but it says 'reduced'

I see similar quesrtions have been asked before but I cant see any resolved threads. There was a suggestion that someone used 'team members' licence and this had reduced functionality - but I have the essentials licence applied in 365 admin.

Thank you for all and every suggestion
David

You should have a D365 Business Central Essential license instead of IWs.
Please assign it in O365 admin center.

Can you please show the license assignment screen in Azure AD for your user? It seems like you might still be running on a demo license.
Are you sure you assigned the correct license and that the license you created is assigned to the correct Azure AD?

It looks like the trial period has expired.

If reassigning the license doesn't work, you can try recreating the environment.

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
