bind table to the bottom of the body

ReportReport

My task is to set the shipToAdress table at the bottom of the body part in various reports.

Right now the shipToAdress table is below the article table and the position can vary from order to order.

When there aren't too many article in the article table, so that report is longer than one page, the shipToAdress table should always be at the same (fixed) position at the bottom of the body.

Is there a way to do it?

You didn't specify what kind of report layout you're using but my guess is that you're using Word layout.  If so, try this.  Open the ShipToAdress table's property and change the Text wrapping property to Around, then click on the Positioning... button.  Set the Vertical position to Bottom and the Relative to option to Margin.  That should keep the table at the bottom of the page, regardless of what the data is above it.

Sorry I forgot to type what layout I'm using. It's a rdlc layout. I don't know if it's important but I'm using the sql server report builder.

If you're using RDLC, it should be much easier.  You should put the objects you want at the bottom of the page, into a Page Footer section.  Set it to print only on the last page if that's all you want.

I thought about that, but I already have a page footer (company informations etc.) which will be displayed on all pages.

Is there a different way to bind a table to the bottom or let's say to the top of the page footer?

This may be a bit dirty but should work, albeit leaving an empty space where there may be room to fit more lines into the body.  If your shipping address is only 2-3 lines, then perhaps it wouldn't hurt to try this.  Place the shipping address info in a text box then set it's visibility so that it'll only show on the last page (PageNumber = TotalPages).
