Please put a if condition to check if calculated field is less than or equal to 7 while calculating the number of days

You can use the field validation to achieve this. Set the maximum field limit to 7.

Or You can write a workflow to calculate the duration and add the limit

whenever I'm selecting same calculated field in workflow it is saying can't select calculated field.

I think there are limitation to Calculated field: Refer this:

    www.summitgroupsoftware.com/.../limitations-calculated-fields-microsoft-dynamics-crm-2015

You should do it by using a simple whole number field and do the calclation using realtimeworkflow and put a condition there.

    Hi Alok Sharma,

You can’t trigger workflows or plug-ins on calculated fields. This is one of limitation of calculated fields in dynamics CRM.

    Hope this helps.

It is calculating DiffInDays property for calculated field but those days It is showing In minutes.

It is showing correct value but instead of Days It is giving minutes like: today it is 1 day but it is showing 1 minutes. if tomorrow it will show 2 minutes.

    Hey Alok,

It's not supposed to do that, but it seems to be a bug in the Duration format. Recreate the field and select 'None' under Format when creating it and it will just be the whole number instead.

    Hope that helps.
