hello guys,

I have a question regarding images in a marketing email.

I set the alignment to center and it is perfectly aligned in the desktop design preview. However, in the mobile design preview it is aligned to the left.

Any suggestions?

    Hi H.Nasser,

Thank you for reporting the issue. Unluckily, without HTML code it's hard to assess what causes this situation.

Have you checked this email using an inbox preview functionality (where you can specify exact mobile client) or have you used the email in a real journey to see how the email looks like when actually sent and opened? If so, what was the result?

As a temporary workaround, without access to your HTML, we can recommend trying the solutions described here:

    stackoverflow.com/.../center-image-using-text-align-center

Best Regards and looking forward to hear from you,

    Aga

    Hi Aga,

    Thanks for your replying.

I discover this problem by trying the “test send” option for the email before i use it in a campaign.

Finally, I found a solution by writing in the html code <center> before the image html code and </center> after the end of the html.

I will reply you with a screenshot to clarify more ASAP.

    Thanks.

    Hi Aga,

Below you can see the way I used to center the images.

    <center><img src="www.hubspot.com/test.jpg&quot;></center>

    Hi H.Nasser,

I'm glad you have found a workaround for the issue!

Can you please share the original HTML code that was generated by our application (which resulted in wrong image formatting on mobile), so that we can work on fix?

    Hi Aga,

This is the HTML code presented the issue discussed:

    </div><div data-editorblocktype="Image"><div align="Center" class="imageWrapper"><a title="www.instagram.com/.../&quot; href="www.instagram.com/.../&quot;><img src="mktdplp102neda.azureedge.net/.../Y14bnIopx2v1ZLByMymqNp1zmDw3Qt8A5U6M2kN1Tvk!&quot;></a></div>

Notice that the align is equal to center, this is the alignment selected while designing the template in the designer tab.

    Hope to solve this issue!

    Regards,

    H.Nasser

You may have to add additional padding in the html version of the email for it to render correclty in mobile devices.

Hi Aga - as I understand, once you have modified the HTML code for an email, it is not possible then to use the visual designer to further modify the email.  Is that correct?
