Security Filter Preventing PO to WO Item insertion

Hello,

I have a permission for Parts users for the Service Line table that allows Read, Ins, Del, Exec, but with a Security Filter= <>Resource because we do not want these users to modify Resource lines.

In some scenarios, Lines are added to Purchase Orders, and if there is a Service Order link the Line is also written to the Service Line table. If the Service Order happens to have a Resource line as the last line added to the Order, the Parts users are then unable to add the PO line(s) because the Insert to the Service Order needs to read the last line and that is forbidden. I have verified this by adding a Misc Charge to the service Order, and this then allows the User to link successfully.

Are there any other ways to accomplish this with Permission adjustments, or will I need to rely on Custom Dev to achieve this?
