Where to find the FUNCTION_SCRIPT(RW_...) parameters in Report Writer

Not all the FUNCTION_SCRIPT can be found in PartnerSource Knowledge, is there any other way for me to get detail information on how to set the parameters for a FUNCTION_SCRIPT.

For example, I managed to get the detial information on what input parameter for RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemNumber, and this calculated field can be correctly shown in the Modified Report.

However, there is not information for RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemDescription so I cannot get the result correctly.

Please advise, many thanks in advance.

    Hi William,

I'm having a difficult time finding this User Defined Function. Which Series is it in?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Dear L Vail,

Please find the link below is the screenshot of the function that I am referring.

I use it in the SOP Blank Packing Slip Form to show the Customer-Item Description (maintained in   Cards > Sales > Customer Item)

Appreciate for your help. Many thanks in advance.

    Hi William,

The RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemDescription function retrieves the Customer Item Description that was assigned to the field "Field9 of globals" in the RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemNumber function.

Therefore, RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemNumber function must be called first from the report writer to get the correct Customer Item Description.

The input parameter for the function RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemDescription is "Item Number".

    Hope this will help you.

    Thanks,

    Prakash

    Yes, you are right.

    FUNCTION_SCRIPT ( RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemNumber
       1
       SOP_LINE_LINE_WORK.Non IV
        SOP_LINE_LINE_WORK.Item Number
       SOP_LINE_LINE_WORK.Item Description
       SOP_HDR_WORK.Customer Numnber )

    FUNCTION_SCRIPT ( RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemDescription
       The-Calculated-field )

The-Calculated-field is the returned result, in which it is the return value from RW_SOP_GetCustomerItemNumber.

But previously I was using the SOP_LINE_LINE_WORK.Item Number which is incorrect.
