Dynamics 365 on-premise support for SQL Server 'Always Encrypted' feature

We have Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premise setup with SQL Server 2016 Ent Edition. We want to enable the "Always Encrypted' feature of SQL Server. could not find any documentation or discussion on this. Does Dyamics 365 on-premise support 'Always Encrypted'?

    Hello,

    I was not able to find a lot of info online either. I would recommend to get in touch with Microsoft and ask them. Even this is Microsoft forum I don't see a lot of participation from Microsoftees.
